Liliana Diaz
Interior Designer/Stager
Liliana's path to interior design began with her love of animation. At the early age of 5 she began to draw and sketch the cartoons she watched on TV. As she began school, she continued to draw and truly illustrated a true talent.
During her time in design school Rebecca was involved in the student ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and was voted vice president of that organization for two separate years. She also received awards for the excellence of her class work in Graphics for Interiors, Professional Practices and Bath Design.
After graduating from Canada Rebecca worked as a design assistant for interior designer Carole Elliott of Los Altos where, among other responsibilities, she gained valuable experience in working with clients and drawing interior perspectives, elevations and furniture plans.
A year later Rebecca and a partner founded the staging company.
Room Designs which she operated for eight years. In 2010 Rebecca combined her Room Designs inventory with that of
Da Lusso Design and became part of the Da Lusso staging team. She also enjoys serving clients on a variety of interior design projects.
She became the family artist and would custom make birthday cards, Christmas cards, decorations, etc. Her love for art never wavered and she even decided to attend San Francisco State University and major in Design. Her journey to interior design evolved from her love of art and fashion. She took a variety of different design courses and found that she really enjoyed and had a knack for Interior Design. She decided to go with that concentration at the University and graduated with her B.S. in the fall of 2010 from San Francisco State University.
After graduating she started to do home staging and became enthralled at all the creativity she was able to put into her work. She was able to implement and try out different styles while considering her customers demands. It wasn't until she started working for Da Lusso Design that she was really able to put her degree to work and really dig into Interior Design. Working for Da Lusso has really given her the ability to work closely with clients to help them achieve their interior decor dreams. Liliana is able to draw inspiration from her family, from her adorable pets Cuppy and Gnocchi, and from the dynamic environment at Da Lusso Design.
